The Carlisle Artisans is a non-profit corporation that operates as a cooperative for the benefit of its members and community:
- To provide a venue for members to sell their handmade items.
- To provide a place for local residents to purchase unique, local, handmade items.
- To support the arts and crafts by creating a community for artisans, fostering their success, and keeping the arts and crafts alive.
You can become a member of the Carlisle Artisans by filling out an application and applying online now:
You can also apply by clicking on one of the links below where you can download, fill out and submit the form by mail or email. We recommend you learn more about the membership levels below to select the appropriate form.
There are three different kinds of memberships:
- Regular – This is our standard membership tier. Most members choose this level. Members in this category, have all rights of any member. They have the right to sell their work in-store and online. They can get involved in the running of the Carlisle Artisans, either by sitting on the board, taking shifts at the gallery, or helping out at events where the Carlisle Artisans are present.
- Guest – Our Guest membership level is more like a consignment setup. You would join for a period, typically three months, where your items are available in-store and online. This membership level is good for someone who wants a trial before they join as a regular member. It could also be good for anyone who only has seasonal items.
- Volunteer – Volunteer members are volunteers who do not sell items, but would like to help run the Carlisle Artisans. Volunteer members can help out by sitting on the board, working in the gallery, or helping out at events where the Carlisle Artisans are present. This would be a good level for anyone who would like to gain experience.
After you submit your application you will receive an email within 24 hours with further instructions. We look forward to hearing from you.
